And although humanity is still bound to the surface of Earth, virtual adventures allow us to catch a glimpse of the most unbelievable parts of our galaxy and find out what the life of a space pioneer really is like. Oxygen Not Included alpha version is one of such games. As you can imply from its name, this is a survival and the developers tried to make it as realistic as possible.
As a head of a group of colonists, you’ll find yourself on a distant asteroid where you are about to build your new home. However, it is going to take a lot of willpower, strategic planning and flexibility. Every decision you take will make the life of the settlers both easier and harder. While constructing food production machines will solve the problem of impending hunger, consumption of that food will increase the amount of toxic waste that you will have to utilize or dump somewhere as far from the colony as possible. New issues will arise every other minute. So don’t even think of relaxing in your chair with a cup of coffee in your hand while virtual workers perform the tasks you assigned to them! Your presence will be required all the time. Without your wise guidance, the colony will soon wither and another hope will be lost. Don’t let the dream of the mankind die for naught!
