The Adventure Pals is an action-packed platformer about friendship, exploration, and riding your giraffe. The Adventure Pals is a 2D side-scrolling action game, You become an adventurer exploring a continuously evolving dungeon. Eliminate enemies, use a variety of weapons and magic, eat food, and defeat evil in the dungeon! The Adventure Pals is currently in funding on Kickstarter following a successful Steam Greenlight campaign, and while it won’t be out until early 2017, you can play some of it right now! The game is being created by Massive Monster, whose massive talents you may remember from Give Up 2, and the original Super Adventure Pals.

Overview

The Adventure Pals is a running, jumping and fighting game where you play duo Sparkles the giraffe and Mr. Rock. By making jumps, exploring levels and defeating enemies you try and stop Mr.B from capturing the elderly, including your dad, and turning them into hotdogs. It’s silly fun, but really well animated and great fun for two players working together.
The humour works for kids with slapstick laughs like your giraffe pal using his tongue to fly, but it also has loads of great tongue in cheek jokes for adults too. Like Sesame Street, different ages play it for different reasons and enjoy it all the more for playing it together.
Your primary weapon is a sword that you can level up with new abilities, or swap for other weapons. Sparkles is able to use his tongue to catch onto things, fly and slow your fall, reach to platforms, swim, and help battle enemies.
The game includes five worlds all with unique quests, characters, boss fights and battle arenas. It’s novel because of the Adventure Time animation style and well realised funny characters. The partnership of characters work together in various ways that encourage players to solve challenges in imaginative ways.
